ART CHICAGO 2010 AND THE INTERNATIONAL ANTIQUES FAIR

The Chicago Conservation Center is proud to be a continued sponsor and exhibitor of Art Chicago 2010 and The International Antiques Fair. Art Chicago is an exclusive international art fair that brings buyers and sellers of the art world together. This four day event is taking place April 30th - May 3rd at the Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago. As part of our sponsorship, The Center will be the official conservation provider for all dealers and attendees throughout the fair. We will also have two educationally focused booths with demonstrations from our conservators working on active treatments. The audience of Art Chicago and The International Antiques Fair can learn about the world of art conservation.

Some Highlights Include:

• Friday April 30th, The Center will be hosting a VIP event from 5:30 - 7:00pm. To attend, all Black Card holders must register for the event through Art Chicago.

• Art Chicago: A panel discussion with Heather Becker (CEO, The Chicago Conservation Center, "Condition and Value: How to Conserve and Protect Your Furniture, Art and Objects". Saturday, May 1st from 1:30 - 2:30pm:

• The Antiques Fair: A panel discussion with Heather Becker, "Conservation Framing and Selecting the Right Profile for your Work of Art". Saturday, May 1st at 3pm.
